Growing up on my family’s fifth-generation operation has given me more than a love for the cattle industry — it’s given me some of life’s most valuable lessons, lifelong relationships and memories I’ll carry with me forever. As a lifelong Hereford breeder, I’ve grown up surrounded by the people, traditions and opportunities that make this industry so special. Organizations like the National Junior Hereford Association have played an instrumental role in shaping not only my passion for the industry, but also the person I am today.

I’m passionate about combining my love for agriculture with my creativity and interest in communications. Through writing, photography and design, I hope to tell the stories of the people and traditions that make this industry so special. For me, agricultural communications is an opportunity to give back to an industry that has given me so much.
Agriculture has always been more than an industry to me. It is a community built on tradition, hard work and the people who make it what it is. Growing up around the livestock industry, I learned early on that behind every animal, every show and every operation, there is a story worth telling. That is what sparked my passion for agricultural communications.
